These unique one of a kind earrings have a happy sunny nature vibe. They are created from , vitreous enamel (pigmented powdered glass) copper, and sterling silver.
Vitreous enamel is sifted onto the copper and fired in a kiln at 1460° Farenheit. The process is repeated multiple times on each side with different colors to fuse the glass to the copper and create the design. The final pieces are buffed with an alundum stone to clean and create smooth surface.
The surface is etched for a matte finish
The ear wires are handcrafted from 20 gauge .925 sterling silver wire. Soldered and oxidized with liver of sulfur and buffed.
The enamel piece is .approximately 1.5" in length and 1" wide.
Approximately 3 in length including ear wire.
The earrings are packaged in a cotton filled gift box and a padded envelope.
