Hand Painted Kiln Fired Enamel Earrings with Oxidzed Sterling Silver Discs and Ear Wires

Lightweight earrings created from copper, vitreous enamel (powdered glass), watercolor enamel and sterling silver.

Enamel was sifted and fired multiple times on inverted copper triangle. Sgrafitto method used to scratch through layer on enamel to unveil color below and create design. Watercolor enamels were used to hand paint additional color and fired in kiln.Backside is white.

Sterling silver ear wires and disc were hand fabricated and oxidized with liver of sulfur.


All pieces were filed and buffed to remove any sharp edges.

Triangle is approximately 2" in length and a 1/3" at widest point. Approximately 3" including ear wire.

Packaged snuggly in a cotton filled jewelry box and shipped in a padded envelope.
