Gorgeous multicolored one of a kind earrings created from copper sheet and vitreous enamel (pigmented powdered glass) and sterling silver sheet and sterling wire.
The pieces are hand cut and sawn from copper sheet, drilled, filed and sanded.
Vitreous enamel is sifted onto the copper and fired on a kiln at 1460° Farenheit to fuse to metal. This process is repeated multiple times on each side with a variety of colors. The sided are cleaned with and smoothed with an alundum stone.
The enameled pieces are attached to handcrafted .925 sterling silver textured ovals and ear wires which are soldered.
The pieces are oxidized with liver of sulfur and buffed. Etched for matte finish.
These unique enamel earrings are approximately 5/8" x .75". It hangs approximately 1.75" including ear wire.
Packaged in cotton filled white gift box.
Simply wipe with soft cloth to clean.
