Created from copper. Dapped into slightly domed shape. These bold and vibrant lightweight earrings were created by sifting vitreous enamel (fine powdered pigmented glass) onto copper and fired in kiln at 1460° farenheit. This process is repeated multiple times on both sides of the piece. Blue and pink.
The pieces are etched to create smooth matte surface and appearance.
The ear wires are hand fabricated from 20 gauge sterling silver wire. They are soldered closed.
These are 34 mm. They are very lightweight.
Packaged in cotton filled white gift box.
Simply wipe with soft cloth to clean. Keep in box or other safe container when not in use, as these are sturdy, but created with metal and glass. These require the same care as other fine jewelry.
