Abstract Asymmetrical Bitter Green and Slate Enameled Earrings with Roman Glass: Sterling Silver Ear Wires
These are one of a kind long stick earrings. They are made with hand forged copper, vitreous enamel (pigmented powdered glass) and sterling silver and Roman glass.
Fun and edgy. Lightweight.
Vitreous enamel (powdered pigmented glass) is sifted onto the copper and fired in a kiln at 1500° Farenheit. The process is repeated multiple times on each side. This fuses the glass to the copper.
Sterling silver wire is used to create the ear wires and rest of design. The ear wires are 21 gauge.
These are light,fun, and kinetic. The enameled piece is approximately .25"wide and 2" in length. They hang about 3".
