Urban Landscape Corrugated Riveted Vitreous Enamel and Sterling Siver Earrings
These unique one of a kind earrings have an urban edgy vibe. They are created from vitreous enamel (pigmented powdered glass), copper, and sterling silver. Brass circle accents. Multicolored.
Liquid vitreous enamel is painted onto the copper which has been foldformed and fired in a kiln at 1500° Farenheit. The process is repeated multiple times on each side with different colors to fuse the glass to the copper and create the design. The final pieces are buffed with an alundum stone to clean and create smooth surface.
Attached to .925 21 gauge sterling silver ear wires which are riveted through the enamel and Brass piece.
The enamel piece is approximately 1.75" long x .250" wide.
These are approximately 2.25 in length including the silver work ear wires.
The earrings are packaged in a cotton filled gift box and a padded envelope.
