Abstract Foldformed Enamel Earrings with Sterling Silver Kidney Wires; Industrial Edgy Artisan Jewelry
These are one of a kind earrings. They are handcrafted from copper, vitreous enamel (pigmented powdered glass) and sterling silver.
Vitreous enamel (powdered pigmented glass) is painted and sifted onto the copper and fired in a kiln at 1500° Farenheit. The process is repeated multiple times on each side. This fuses the glass to the copper.
Sterling silver kidney ear wires provide a secure closure.
These are light,edgy, and kinetic. Approximately .".9375" wide and 2.5" in length. They hang about 2.875" including the ear wires.
The earrings are packaged in a cotton filled gift box and a padded envelope.
