Small Foldformed and Corrugated White, Green, and Clear Vitreous Enamel and Sterling Siver Post Earrings: Ripples
These unique one of a kind earrings have a whimsical vibe. They are created from , vitreous enamel (pigmented powdered glass), copper, and sterling silver.
Hand cut, corrugated, foldformed, filed, and sanded.
Liquid vitreous enamel is applied to copper and fired in a kiln at 1500° Farenheit. The process is repeated multiple times on each side with different colors to fuse the glass to the copper and create the design. The final pieces are buffed with an alumdun stone to clean and create smooth surface.
Blue, white, and clear enamel.
Attached to .925 oxidized sterling silver posts.
The enamel piece is .approximately .75" long x 3/8" wide.
These hang approximately 1.125" in length including ear wires.
The earrings are packaged in a cotton filled gift box and a padded envelope.
