Earrings Hand Forged Copper & Sterling Silver
These are one of a kind earrings. They are made with hand forged copper, vitreous enamel (pigmented powdered glass) and sterling silver. All sides are covered with enamel.
Fun and edgy.
Vitreous liquid enamels (powdered pigmented glass) are painted onto the copper and fired in a kiln at 1500° Farenheit. The process is repeated multiple times on each side. This fuses the glass to the copper.
Sterling silver wire is used to create the solderedear wires. The ear wires are 21 gauge and soldered.
These are light,fun, and kinetic. The enameled piece is approximately 1.25# in diameter. They hang about 1.75"
The earrings are packaged in a cotton filled gift box and a padded envelope. Ready for gifting.
