Foldformed Corrugated Vitreous Enamel and Sterling Siver Dangle Earrings: An Evening Walk in the Forest
The warm colors evoke memories of walks in the woods.
These unique one of a kind earrings have a warm cozy vibe. They are created from , vitreous enamel (pigmented powdered glass), copper, and sterling silver.
Hand cut, foldformed and corrugated.
Vitreous enamel is sifted onto the copper and fired in a kiln at 1500° Farenheit. The process is repeated multiple times on each side with different colors to fuse the glass to the copper and create the design. The final pieces are buffed with an alumdun stone to clean and create smooth surface.
Woodsy blue green, red, and yellow enamels.
Attached to .925 oxidized sterling silver 21 gauge ear wires.
The enamel piece is .approximately .75" wide x 1.125" long.
These hang approximately 2.25" in length including ear wires.
The earrings are packaged in a cotton filled gift box and a padded envelope.
