Golden Leaf Enamel Earrings with Sterling Silver Kidney Ear Wires
These are one of a kind earrings. They are made with hand forged copper, vitreous enamel (pigmented powdered glass), gold luster, and sterling silver.
Vitreous enamel (powdered pigmented glass) is sifted onto the copper and fired in a kiln at 1500° Farenheit. The process is repeated multiple times on each side. This fuses the glass to the copper.
Sterling silver wire is used to create the ear wires and rest of design. The ear wires are 21 gauge.
The enameled piece is approximately .75"wide and 1.25" in length. They hang about 1.75" including ear wire.
The earrings are packaged in a cotton filled gift box and a padded envelope.
