Lightweight earrings created from copper, vitreous enamel (powdered glass), and sterling silver. Foldformed. Soldered.
Vitreous enamel (powdered pigmented glass) was fired onto copper at 1500° Farenheit in a kiln. The pieces were fired multiple times and etched for a matte finish.
Sterling silver ear wires (21 gauge) and findings. Oxidized.
The enamel piece is approximately. 1.5" in length and. 5" at widest point. Drop length including ear wires is approximately 2.5".
Packaged snuggly in a cotton filled jewelry box and shipped in a padded envelope.
