Gorgeous spruce bitter green one of a kind earrings created from copper and vitreous enamel (pigmented powdered glass), sterling silver cast bee and sterling silver wire.
Vitreous enamel is sifted onto the copper and fired on a kiln at 1460° Farenheit to fuse to metal. This process is repeated multiple times on each side with a variety of colors. The sided are cleaned with and smoothed with an alundum stone. Etched to a matte finish.
The enameled pieces are attached to handcrafted sterling silver ear wires and a sterling silver cast bee is soldered to the ear wire and oxidized.
These enamel commponets are approximately 1 1/3" wide x 1 1/3 in length It hangs approximately 2.25 " including ear wire.
Packaged in cotton filled white gift box. Shipped in padded envelope.
Simply wipe with soft cloth to clean.
