These unique one of a kind funky earrings are handcrafted from copper, vitreous enamel (pigmented powdered glass) and sterling silver.
Vitreous enamel is sifted onto the copper and fired in a kiln at 1500° Farenheit. The process is repeated multiple times on each side with different colors to fuse the glass to the copper and create the design. The sides are sanded. Etched for matte finish.
Sterling silver wire is used to create the ear wires and rest of design. The The ear wires are 21 guage.
These are bitter green and blue The enameled piece is approximately 1" wide and 1.75" in length. They hang about 2.5" including the hanger and ear wires.
The earrings are packaged in a cotton filled gift box and a padded envelope.
