Gorgeous multicolored one of a kind earrings created from copper sheet and vitreous enamel (pigmented powdered glass), stone beads and sterling silver.
Vitreous enamel is sifted onto the copper and fired on a kiln at 1500° Farenheit to fuse to metal. This process is repeated multiple times on each side with a variety of colors. Mason stains are painted onto the top layer of enamel and fired again. Etched for matte finish. The sided are cleaned with and smoothed with an alundum stone.
There is a different design on each side.
Silver and blue stone dangles hang from enameled piece.
The enameled pieces are attached to handcrafted sterling silver ear wires.
These unique enamel earring is approximately 7/8" wide x 2.5" in length It hangs approximately 3" including ear wire.
Packaged in cotton filled white gift box.
Simply wipe with soft cloth to clean.
