Created from copper. These bold and vibrant lightweight earrings were created by sifting vitreous enamel (fine powdered pigmented glass) onto copper and fired in kiln at 1460° farenheit. This process is repeated multiple times on both sides of the piece. The enamel is etched for a matte appearance.
The ear wires are hand fabricated from 20 gauge sterling silver wire. They are soldered closed and oxidized.
These are 1.75"x 1.5". They are big and very lightweight. They hang approximately 2 1/5" with ear wires.
Packaged nestled in cotton in a jewelry box and shipped in a padded envelope.
