This funky pendant is mixed metal - fine silver, sterling silver, and vitreous enamel fired onto copper.
This started with a hand cut and filed copper rectangle. Vitreous enamel (fine powdered pigmented glass) was sifted onto the copper and fired for several minutes in a kiln at 1460° farenheit. This process was repeated multiple times with different colors one each side and cooled and cleaned between each firing. The enamel piece was etched for a matte texture.
Set in handcrafted fine silver and .925 sterling silver bezel with fine silver accents. Textured and polished and attached to oxidized sterling silver oval link chain with a handcrafted S hook clasp.
The pendant hangs from 18" chain. The pendant is 1.5" wide x .75" with 1" hanging fine silver embellishment.
Packaged nested in cotton filled gift box. Mailed in padded envelope.
