These fun and funky colorful earrings remind me of summer.. They are handcrafted from copper, vitreous enamel (pigmented powdered glass) and .925 sterling silver.
Vitreous enamel (powdered pigmented glass) is sifted onto the copper and fired in a kiln at 1500° Farenheit. The process is repeated multiple times on each side. This fuses the glass to.the copper. The glass is etched for a matte finish.
A small silver colored drop hang from the bottom.
Sterling silver wire is used to create the ear wires. The ear wires are 20 gauge.
These are light and fun. The enameled piece is approximately 1.25" wide and 1" in length. They hang about 1.5" including the hanger and ear wires.
The earrings are packaged in a cotton filled gift box and a padded envelope.
